The Museum of Flight is Washington State's premier aviation and space museum, with more than 175 aircraft on display across its main gallery, the Great Gallery, and the outdoor Airpark — including an original Air Force One Boeing 707 and a Concorde. It sits about 12 miles from Renton on E Marginal Way South, adjacent to Boeing Field. The museum hosts school groups, corporate events, and private evening receptions in the Great Gallery, and its dedicated group arrival area handles bus-size vehicles.
Buses drop passengers at the main lobby entrance and wait in the adjacent surface lot during the visit. For school groups, timed-entry advance booking is required, and programs must be reserved at least two weeks ahead. Weekday morning arrivals avoid the weekend tourist traffic entirely.
Undercarriage storage on charter buses handles student backpacks, lunch coolers, and any materials for the visit — students enter together and nothing gets left on a yellow bus in a parking lot all day. We recommend reviewing the Museum of Flight group visits page for current booking procedures.
